Jerry was generously donated to our program by Kathy and quickly became a rider favorite. Jerry enjoys babysitting all of the foals in his pasture.

Joe, owned by Susanne, is a rider favorite. He enjoys spending time with King out in the field. In his spare time, Joe enjoys participating in Prince Phillip Games (mounted games for Pony Club.)

Bo came to us all the way from Quebec, and has settled in perfectly! He makes three Fjords that look identical and he certainly makes it tricky when it comes to figuring out who is who.

Stella is the star of the FSTRA show. She is ridden by our youngest and oldest riders. Stella always has a braid in her forelock.

Toby was born in New Brunswick and moved to RWS when he was 2.5 years old. Toby enjoys going to horse shows during the Summer months.

King, owned by the Townsends, is a wonderful addition to the FSTRA team. King was donated to our program along with his best friend Karma. King enjoys roughhousing in the field with Joe.

Karma was donated to our program, along with her best friend King. Karma loves when you bring her an apple when catching her from the field. Karma loves to be brushed.

Gryphon is one of our newer therapy horses! He was generously donated to our program by the Murray's. Gryphon has been liberty trained and is going to make a great addition to our EAP herd.

Cherry is one of the original lesson horses at RWS. She has shown all over the Maritimes in the Large Pony Hunters as well as in the Jumper ring.

Jack, otherwise known as the "cow horse" has many jobs. When he is not in therapeutic riding lessons, Jack is shown competitively at Equine Canada Jumper Shows.

Dun Willy was generously donated to our program by the Osmonds. In his younger years, Dun Willy taught lessons at the Halifax Junior Bangal Lancers. Dun Willy enjoys going to horse shows.

Ginger has lived all over Nova Scotia and has been loved by many. In her younger years Ginger was shown in 4H. Ginger has taught many children how to ride and believes she could teach the lessons herself.

Champ is our tallest therapy horse and is a gentle giant. Champ's sweet personality makes him a great first horse for many.

Puzzles has been used in FSTRA’s lesson program for the last couple of years and has been a great addition to our program. In the off-season, Puzzles likes to waterski FSTRA’s staff around the farm!!

Coming to us a bit later in life, Cooper quickly became an invaluable member of the FSTRA team and was a wonderful therapy horse during his time at Rohan Wood Stables. After a long battle with illness, we were saddened to announce that Cooper passed away peacefully during the fall of 2022. We know that he was loved by so many in the FSTRA community and will always be greatly missed.
